JUST A LITTLE MORE...STELLA DE LIBERO

Roses are red violets are blue...Cinderella just went floral and girls well, more girly
People have taken a u-turn from the Victorian ballroom dress especially when they are strutting to prince charming at the alter. Mermaid dresses, sheath dress, trumpet....Roll out the list of conventional wedding dresses all dusted with dreamy embellishments and satin, lace and a little bit of magical glitter. But can the Victorians dare to make a come-back? or can the good people of Audacious Fashion take the daring clothes of that era and run a spring affair for that magical day?

Japanese designer Stella de libero has created vintage in the modern time, giving birth to reformed Jane Austin feminine elegance Or even the tales of the great English writer William Shakespeare; and to think that the likes of these have become museum and gallery displays. These dresses are dreamy, eye-candies, voluminous and made for only the most audacious of women.

These dresses while paying homage to the Victorians of the past, till hints on the feminine expectations on elegance that is yet to be filtered with time. I  for one am not a lover of the girly girly flutters but when I saw this , my first words were 'WOW'. The Tartan (Scottish fabric) dress would go for my best. It is not only constructive and permit me to say architectural but took me back to Alexander Mcqueen's Fall/Winter 1995 collection, Highland Rape; It was a Tartan affair.

So, Got to have it or Make it Stop?

Would you have prince charming put that precious ban around your finger in a dress like this?
.

“What we do see depends mainly on what we look for. ... In the same field the farmer will notice the crop, the geologists the fossils, botanists the flowers, artists the colouring, sportmen the cover for the game. Though we may all look at the same things, it does not all follow that we should see them.”

“People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.”

― Iris Murdoch

We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature - trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence... We need silence to be able to touch souls.

After women, flowers are the most lovely thing God has given the world.
